Charity Run & Walk - DAN DAN RUN 2015
This year, we will once again host the DAN DAN RUN Charity Run and Walk!
The purpose of this charity run and walk is to help refugees who have fled to Japan. Last year, about 300 people joined and this is our second time to host the event.
This time, the sub-theme is "Let's run, let's walk, let's expand."
In addition to the run and walk around the Imperial Palace, we have planned a fun event at the Hibiya Park. We hope you will join!

Many refugees seek refuge in Japan from the Middle East such as Syria, as well as Africa and Asia, to escape violations of human rights. For these refugees to regain their lost "ordinary lives" including a job, house, family, and daily peace, they would have to overcome countless obstacles. Proceeds will go to refugees to help them build their lives in Japan.
What Is DAN DAN RUN?
This event is planned and run under the joint sponsorship of the Japan Association for Refugees (JAR) and the Volunteer Executive Committee. Proceeds will go to refugee assistance. In February 2014 when this project was first planned, we named this event the "Dan Dan (Warm Warm) Run" in the hopes of "send refugees a warm winter."
