There are refugees that have escaped to Japan from many regions of the world - Turkey, Afganistan, Pakistan, Myanmar (Burma)...
They have their own stories.
Your financial contribution can make a great difference in their lives.
10,000 yen can provide one hospital visit for a refugee in medical need.
(Most refugees are not eligible for medical insurance, and must pay the full amount.)
30,000 yen can provide 1 month food to a refugee without any earnings.
(Many of the refugees are not allowed to work, while they wait anywhere from 1.5 to 2 years for the decision regarding their status to be reached.)
50,000 yen can provide one month of shelter to a refugee, saving the individual from becoming homeless.
